Your website is not a brochure, it is a decision engine
A brochure describes. A decision engine resolves doubt. The difference shows up in the first screen and decides everything that follows.

Brochure thinking treats a website as an inventory of facts: who we are, what we do, where we are. Decision thinking treats it as a sequence of objections resolved in order. The layout looks similar. The performance does not.
The first screen has one job
It must state what the business does, for whom, and why that matters more than the alternative — before a visitor decides whether to keep reading. Aesthetic reassurance buys a few seconds; it does not substitute for the claim.
Beauty earns the second scroll. Only clarity earns the enquiry.

Once the argument is structured, the digital work becomes technical rather than speculative: speed, hierarchy, accessibility, and a content system the business can actually maintain. That is where a site stops being a cost and starts being infrastructure.
